About
For over a decade, I've been exploring and photographing the far corners of the country's backcountry and the forgotten towns along the way. My passion for photography grew out of my desire to document my adventures and to share them with those who appreciate the significance of the places I visit.
Who Am I?
My name is Adam Thompson. I'm an engineer and fine-art photographer currently based in Denver, Colorado. For as long as I can remember, my passion has been getting out and exploring our wilderness areas. Whether it be hunting arches, searching for new waterfalls, or bagging a new summit, I feel most at home in the outdoors.

About This Site
This blog serves as a place to share my trips, some history about the places I visit, and to teach you the photography and wilderness skills that I've learned over the years.
I'm only able to document a small fraction of my adventures here, but I'm constantly working to produce new content for the site.
